The "SE14" is the latest update from the original NH-C12P. This update is replacing the NF-P12 fan with the larger NF-P14 FLX 140mm fan. The "SE" was added with the introduction of the newer Intel sockets.

The NH-C12P is a good solution for HTPC and desktop computer but not limited to those applications. The NH-C12P can very well be used in a tower computer case.
