Day 7 - KamaBay Mod day

Today, so I am planning on how to mount the XSPC RX120 into the case. I want to mount it into the 3 bottom 5 1/4in bays. I will be using a KamaBay to do so. The KamaBay will need some modification to do so. I am not sure if I showed off the XSPC RX120 and the KamaBay, so here it goes and then we get to the modifications.

    The XSPC RX120

    some more pictures

I already started the modding when I took the pictures but I think most have seen the KamaBay already.
I will add some pictures with the original condition of the KamaBay, as I still have one fully intact here.

So, modding the bay. First I had to figure out how to screw the RX120 on to the KamaBay. The screws on the KamaBay come from the opposened side of the fan usually, so throw the fan and then into the bay.
For my purposes I had to drill wholes into the front of the bay because I would not be able to get the screws through the rad without bending internals of the rad.

    here are we go

The lip on the top of the bay had to be shortened as well to mount the rad properly.

And here we go with the KamaBay Mod.

    and into the case

It's a good look but a pain to clean. The Dust filter is nearly unreachable.
